Podcaster website - Malgosia Zmaczynska and 100+ episodes
Project: a podcaster website for Malgosia Zmaczynska, with podcasts, the author's work and a template for over one hundred episodes.
Challenge
The podcaster website for Malgosia Zmaczynska had to organise several parallel activities: Podcast RADIOaktywny, Zmacznego, the HiCash channel and information about the author. The biggest challenge was over one hundred episodes that could not remain a plain list.
Listeners needed to find an episode quickly, while new visitors had to understand who Malgosia is and where to start. With this amount of content, navigation becomes part of the product.
Solution
I built a WordPress site with an episode description template that organises the title, description and listening point. Adding new publications does not break the page structure.
The structure leads from the person to the content: first Malgosia's activity, then podcasts and episodes. The site is responsive, because many listening journeys start on a phone.
Website colour palette
The palette leaves space for audio content and episode descriptions. Blue leads to key actions, while navy keeps the podcast archive organised.
Fonts used in the project
A geometric typeface that gives structure to headings and guides the eye through sections. In this podcaster website project, it separates the offer, facts and calls to action.
A readable typeface for descriptions, lists and forms. On mobile, the copy stays light, so visitors can move through the offer without friction.
