Teacher's Day caricature - a thank-you poster
Project: a Teacher's Day caricature created digitally in Procreate and prepared as a poster to give as a gift.
Idea
The Teacher's Day caricature had to say thank you without feeling stiff. The idea was simple: show the teacher with recognisable traits, add a warm mood and prepare the drawing so it worked well as a poster.
The tone matters most in this kind of gift. The drawing should be funny but kind, because it goes to someone the group wants to thank, not turn into a joke at any cost.
Execution
In Procreate I drew the teacher with details that build likeness and a positive feel. Warm colours helped keep the thank-you mood instead of turning the work into sharp satire.
The finished file was prepared for poster printing. That made it possible to give the piece as a concrete, personal gift, not just an image sent in a message.
