Zatkalo Kakalo handmade blog and store
Project: a handmade store and blog for Zatkalo Kakalo, with post categories, macrame products, online payments and a responsive layout.
Challenge
The Zatkalo Kakalo handmade store and blog had to combine personal posts with the ability to sell handmade products such as macrame pieces. The site needed several content categories, but it could not lose the main goal: showing craft and making purchase easier.
For Aneta, independent post publishing and product adding mattered. The blog and store had to work together, not like two separate parts glued together.
Solution
I prepared WordPress with a blog and WooCommerce, dividing content into clear categories. The store allows handmade products to be sold, while online payments shorten the route from inspiration to order.
I refined responsiveness and loading speed so the site stayed comfortable on a phone. Zatkalo Kakalo received a base for publishing, selling and growing a handmade brand in one place.
