The goal was to create a calm illustration of a teddy bear that doesn't need many details to be readable. The drawing was meant to work as a graphic for print and the internet.

Idea

The Procreate project was meant to show a teddy bear in a calm, minimal style. The drawing needed to feel soft, keep readable linework and work both as a print image and as online graphics.

It would have been easy to add too many details, but that would have taken away the simplicity. The task was to find the point where the character stays gentle and still reads well in a small preview.

Execution

I started with references and style direction, then built a simple teddy bear shape on the iPad. The soft lines received only as many accents as needed to make the plush form clear.

I kept the colour muted so it would not fight the linework. As a result, the drawing feels friendly, calm and ready to use across formats without extra clean-up.
